Challenger Carriages
Time-tested Challenger carriages with straight-line dogs come standard with Hurdle Complete Mill Packages.
The Challenger set shaft carriage is standard in 2 or 3 knee versions and LightHeavyWeight or HeavyWeight versions. Headblock openings are 33”, 36”, or 40”.
The Challenger LP Linear Positioner carriage (shown in picture) is optional and available with 36” or 40” openings.
Other options include: Hammer Dog, Cant Turners, Computer Setworks
Magnum Carriages
Magnum carriages are tong-dog carriages for larger mills or mills built from scratch.
The Magnum LP Linear Positioner Carriage is for heavy duty applications using the latest scanning and positioning technology.
The Magnum LS Setshaft/Chain-Drive Carriage is for simpler heavy duty applications.
